Talleres de Córdoba is looking to close the season with a new goalkeeper. Uruguayan club Nacional has Guido Herrera, Talleres' goalkeeper, on their radar as a potential reinforcement. The club made a probe to know the situation of the goalkeeper and has him on their list as a possible reinforcement. There have been no formal negotiations between clubs or a concrete offer, although the interest is firm. From Talleres' side, the information comes in a very particular context. The team recently played against Atlético Tucumán in the Copa Argentina and in the hours prior to the game, it was rumored that it could have been their last game in the club, which fueled speculation about a possible departure in June. This season, Herrera has accumulated 19 games in the goal for Talleres, always as a starter. He completed all 90 minutes and received 17 goals in total, while keeping his goal intact in 7 occasions. The Cordoba club considers him a reference, both for his performance and his trajectory. Herrera has been in the ‘T’ since 2016 and was part of the promotion to First Division in the same year.
